1 cup lotus seed/Makhane

2 boiled potato( can use sweet potato too)

1 /2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 spoon green chillies.

Rock salt to taste

1 spoon coriander leaves

8-9 cashews

6-7 Raisins

1 tablespoon kuttu ka Atta or rajgira ka atta


Oil for deep frying or shallow fry.


Preparation :

  1. Soak lotus seeds for 2 hours in one cup water & then strain them.
  2. Mash potatoes & add all the ingredients except cashews & raisins.

      3.Mix them well & form small balls.Flattened the balls & stuff with cashew & raisin.

      4 Now give it a shape of tikkis. Make tikkis of all balls.

5.Heat oil & fry or shallow fry as per your choice. I have shallow fried them.

     6 Serve with green chutney.
